Are you tired of reading the news? Embarrassed to have an orange in the White House? We are too! Join Box Opener and Just Jenny as they co-hare the second annual Fourth of July Hash. Utah! In this special edition of the Hash, two of your favorite Americans will take you back in time to celebrate the United States’s birthday in the ~cool caves~ of Lingshan. After escaping the heat inside the caves (optional), they’ll take you for a Hash with everything you never knew you needed. Maybe you’ll even see a dinosaur?! 🦕

Meetup Point: 西湖国家森林公园灵山风景区(copy and paste for Didi)

Meet in the parking lot at the bottom of the hill. This point is the same for ALL Hashers regardless of whether or not they are joining for the caves.

Date: Saturday, July 4, 2020 (Independence Day! Utah!)

Time: 12:45PM meet for Lingshan Caves (optional); 3:15PM (chalk talk); 3:30PM (Hash)

Cost: 20 RMB (60 RMB for the Lingshan caves–this cost is IN ADDITION TO the 20 RMB and paid by individual)

Getting there: Lingshan is in Hangzhou (somewhere), but there are no metro stations close to the meetup point. We recommend taking a bus or Didi (carpooling!) and planning ahead to avoid traffic.

Note: For those going to the caves: each individual MUST have a valid form of ID (身份证 or passport), mask, and Hangzhou green code for entry. There WILL be a place to leave your bags before we rejoin the rest of the group for the Hash. If you do not arrive by 12:45, we WILL leave without you!

Note: For ALL Hashers: this will be an A-B walk/run (carry your bags!)

Dress code: EVERY hasher must wear at least ONE article of red, blue, and/or white clothing! Dress code will be strictly enforced with down-downs.

Haberdashery: There are only TWO DAYS left to place an order for a tank top with or without your Hash name on it. Contact Box Opener or Purple Pill by midnight on Thursday, July 2 to place your order!
