Looks like the weather will be fine this weekend so we would like to go hiking again. Please come along. Meet at the McDonalds store in shops on south side of Yellow Dragon Stadium.  Bring warm clothes, comfortable shoes, camera, water and snacks. If TwinkleToes and his wife come over, then this is the last chance we meet them at hash before they leave for good.

New HZH3 Schedule Begins: Runs are every other Saturday and both walker’s and runner’s  trails are provided.

Venue: We will start run at Jiang Nan Yi Youth Hostel(江南驿青年旅馆）at Man Jue Long Rd

Bus: K4 J1 Y5 J5 Y7 J9 K315 K504 K514 K527 K808 to Hangzhou Zoo Stop(杭州动物园站）and follow the trail to Jiang Nan Yi.

There will be no run this weekend.

In future Hangzhou hash will run once every two weeks, on a Saturday afternoon.

Hare: Twinkle Toes

Trek to North Peak, ascent by northern ridge, descent into Lingyin Valley. Meet at the McDonalds store in shops on south side of Yellow Dragon Stadium, to leave at 12noon. Hare will be wearing white cap with “28K HZ Trail” embroidered on side. Trek to Xixi Road and begin ascent up Laohe Hill. Follow ridges SW to North Peak, then descend into Lingyin Valley and seek refreshment, and maybe dinner. Perhaps 8km of hill walking. Bring warm clothes, comfortable shoes, camera, water and snacks.

Venue: Meet at McDonalds store, corner of Hefang Street and Zhongshan Road (Twinkle Toes will be wearing white cap with “28K HZ Trail” embroidered on side.)

Trek from Washan Plaza up Ziyang Hill passing the Town God Pavilion. Follow ridges SW to Fenghuang (Phoenix) Hill, then on to view the Octagonal Field, then ascend Yuhuang (Jade Emperor) Mountain. Descend to Yuhuangshan Road near the China Silk Museum and seek refreshment, and maybe dinner. Perhaps 6km of hill walking. Bring warm clothes, comfortable shoes, camera, water and snacks.

Hash Warm Up – Trek the South Peak

Fine weather only (call Robert). Meet at MacDonalds shop, south side of Yellow Dragon Stadium, to leave at 09.00am.
Robert will be wearing white cap with “28K HZ Trail” embroidered on side. Trek up Lingyin Valley, cross over to Longjing Valley, ascend South Peak, descend to West Lake, return to Maya Bar for 4.00pm Hash. Maybe 12-14km of hill walking. Bring coins for buses, warm clothes, comfortable shoes, camera, water, snacks, money for lunch stop.
