Run description : don’t know what to do with yourself during the holidays? Tired of the crowds around West Lake? Why not join the Hash House Harriers for a hike and a couple of ice cold beers? it’s still hot so this will be a moderate 7-8 k trail, albeit a bit more challenging than the short short & flat flat West with a bit of uphill, some gorgeous views and an additional R-trail loop for Rambos!

This time, we’re gracing the picturesque village of Longjin with our sweaty presence. The name translates to “Dragon Well,” because of course it does. Local legend says if you place seven bottles of beer over the well (like those nerds in Dragon Ball), a dragon will pop out to grant wishes.
Frankly, if a magical beast appears, I won’t be wasting my wish on world peace. I’m asking for a self-replenishing beer fridge. It’s what any reasonable, responsible adult would do.
