Run #33 – The Contradiction Run
Run #33 – Sunday 13th January The Contradiction Run – Hare Battery Operated (assisted by PushupBa) – Meijawu re-visited – take the Y4 bus to Meijawu, it runs along Shuguang Rd past the Maya. Meet at the Maya at 2.30, or proceed to Meijawu directly – The venue is the Acro/Cigar restaurant – To get there walk back 200 metres from the bus stop to an elevated footpath and up stairs to the restaurant. The hares may not be back in time for the start, but the restaurant will look after your gear. And by the way, the contradiction is a battery operated virgin.
#32 The unlimited DownDown Run
Once again the holiday period has taken its toll on the frequency of updates to this site. Here for posterity are the details of LAST Sunday’s run. Anyone writing run reports for the last 3 runs?

Venue: Eleven bar, north of the intersection between Wen Yi rd and Baochu North rd.
Hare: Miki (hey miki ! you’re so fine, you’re so fine you blow my mind hey miki!)
Miki owns the bar. It is called ‘Eleven’ and the irony is not lost on me as it is on #13 Xixi Hexia rd.
For our first run of 2008, he promises there will be ‘fresh joy’ alongside unlimited down-downs and spicy food after that. Bad news or those who’ve made a new year resolution to drink less. Minnie mouse might also make a guest appearance.
Buses: Sheng Wei Dang Xiao Stop is the nearer of the 2. When you get off, walk west to the intersection with Baochu North road, turn right (north) and you should arrive at Eleven hopefully!

Run#31 – Maya Bar Time Warp Run
Ok, problems with the website meant this is wasn’t up in time. Here, for posterity though are the details for LAST Sunday’s run.
Run#31 – Sunday 30th December 15.00 – Maya Bar.
Hares: Seven-up and Tonsil Hockey will be fizzing things up at the MAYA BAR. If you still don’t know where it is by now, you should be tied up to a urinal and left there to fester and rot.
Its the last hash run for 2007 so make sure you turn up!

Run #29 – The Yugu Rd Doner Kebab Shop Run
Sunday 16th December 15.00 – The run will start at the, not unsurprisingly, the Yugu Rd Doner Kebab Shop, hares the Pelagic and Botton feeder combo. For those not in the know, the Kebab shop is across the road from the Uni. It’s also Kevin’s going finish run, PNG lingo for he’s off, for good.

Run #27 – The Disneyland Run
Sunday December 2nd – 15.00 – The Disneyland Run featuring Hares Miki Mouse and Pluto the Dog(gie) Style – The start is from the T intersection of Yan’an Rd and Hefang St, at the southern end of Yan’an Rd. Under the stone arch in the raised square. This is Doggie’s last run before heading back to Pommyland for a month.
Run #26 – The No Hills Guaranteed Run
Run #26 – Sunday 25th November 15.00 – Hares Gerry and Pushup(bra) – The Holiday Inn, Jianguo Rd corner Fengqi Rd – There will be a surprise after this run (oh, and it can be guaranteed that there will be no hills)
The 25th Anniversary of Hash in HZ
Sunday 18th November – 15.00 – The Maya Bar – Hares Pelagic and Bottom Feeder – Hangzhou Hash is 25 runs old, the quarter century already, and the pack is back where it started all those eons ago, the Maya. As an anniversary run, there will be that special reason to turn out and bring new blood, any variety will do.
The bad news is that Cigar, Monika to some, departs China this weekend, so the Friday farewell drinks, all welcome, are at the 7 Club from 7.00, then on on to the Family Liu Restaurant in Baochu Lu at about 8.00 and then on on somewhere else.
The Coming Weekend – A Running Extravaganza
Saturday November 10th 7.30am 2007 – Vasque Hangzhou Westlake Mountain Race – nomination details at http://race.fxoutdoor.cn/ which works a lot better if you read Chinese. If not, register with Luo on 0571-85922881. It’s a 28km run around the Hangzhou mountains, starting from HuangLong stadium, which is either an individual event, a two person relay or an exclusive hash 6 person relay as patched together by Doggie and agreed to by the run organisers. That means that Doggie, Acro, Tonsils, Pelagic, Bottom Feeder and Pushup are in and on on. In the amazing event that the baton will be actually changed by this geographicly challenged crew in the mountains, then the last runner will be back about 12.15. There is little doubt that there will be some post-run celebrations, think Maya, afterwards. Come join! The G Earth image of the route and a map is in the gallery, under Oddities.
