Whether you’re a runner 跑步者, a jogger 慢跑者 or a walker 走步/爬山者, come along and hit the country roads and tea field trails while chasing the ‘hares’ through the forests and over the hills around Hangzhou with us. 欢迎大家!

The Hares for Hash #158 are Sweet FA with Just “Mimi” and Just “Zoe”.

The Hares promise you runners’ and walkers’ trails featuring fantastic, never before seen sights for HZH3 Hash #158. There will be scenic tea fields, forests and hills, of course, but also lakes, parks and gardens, and cultural sites and other stuff you’d expect on a SCENIC BEST OF HANGZHOU RUN.

We will start the #158 HZH3 Hash at Shi Wei Xian Farmhouse Restaurant  (食为鲜酒家) at 205 MeiLing North Road, MaoJiaBu (茅家埠, 梅灵北路205号) near the S-E corner of the intersection of MeiLing North Road and the JiQing Shan Tunnel entrance (在 梅灵北路 和 吉庆山隧道进口 交界口的东南方向).

Cost 费用: 20RMB – Covers: run/hike, beer and snacks. 包括: 跑步/爬山,啤酒,小吃.

Bus 公交:  The #4 bus stops about 100m from ShiWeiXian Restaurant and the #27 bus stops about 500m away (and the Y2, Y3, Y4 and Y6 too, I think). Please be aware that there may be changed routes and delays on weekends, so please go EARLY. Go to the Google Map or BaiDu maps above and then look at the nearby bus stops to see if a suitable bus route is available for you.

Public Hire Bikes 共用自行车: Why not beat the traffic jams or get some extra exercise and ride a bike to the start? There are a couple of Red Public Hire Bike points within 1.5kms of the meeting point. See the public transport map above.

After the #158 Hash we’ll have the “Circle” to award Down Downs (beer provided 免费啤酒) for transgressions of Hash etiquette or protocol, errors of judgement, and various other misdemeanours, and then everyone is invited to join us for the Bash (dinner 晚餐). NOTE: The Bash has a separate cost. 注意:晚餐是另一个费用.

You can expect HZH3 Hash runs roughly (or sometimes VERY roughly… if the hares had a big night out on the night before…) every other Saturday (i.e. fortnightly) and both runners’ and walkers’ trails will usually be set.

It’s fun, it’s social, it’s healthy (mostly…), so come along and be a part of it!!!

The reborn Hangzhou Hash is almost 1 year old, so come and join the fun and celebrate with us this Saturday afternoon!!!   🙂

The Hares promise you runners’ and walkers’ trails featuring fantastic, never before seen sights for HZH3 Hash #157. There will be scenic canals and bridges, of course, but also parks and gardens, and cultural sites and other stuff you’d expect on a SCENIC CANALS RUN.

FYI, for the parents of tiny tots and rug rats out there, this Hash will be 95% baby stroller friendly!!!

Bus 公交:  Many buses go along QingChun Road, JieFang Road and JianGuo Road. Go to the Google Map or BaiDu maps above and then look at the nearby bus stops to see if a suitable bus route is available for you.

Metro 地铁: The Hangzhou Train Station Metro station (杭州站站) and the LongXiang Qiao Metro station (龙翔桥站) are both about 1 – 1.2 kms walk (bike ride) away from the meeting point. See the Transport Maps link (if you can’t see the 2 map pics above) for suggested walking routes to the meeting point.

Public Hire Bikes 共用自行车: Why not beat the traffic jams or get some extra exercise and ride a bike to the start? There are a couple of Red Public Hire Bike points on ZhiDa FangBo Street very near to the meeting point.

Catch buses to the Zhejiang University Yuquan campus (浙大玉泉校区) on Yugu Road at Zheda Road (500m walk) OR to the Botanic Gardens (植物园) gate on Yugu Road (100m walk) OR to the Yuquan Bus Station (玉泉站) on Yuquan and Lingyin Roads (500m walk). Go to the Google Map or BaiDu Map above and then look at the nearby bus stops to see if a suitable bus route is available for you.

Public Hire Bikes 共用自行车: Why not beat the traffic jams or get some extra exercise and ride a bike to the start? There some Red Public Hire Bike points very near to the Hash meeting point… There is a small one in the carpark opposite the gate of the Botanic Gardens. The Hares for Hash #153 are Phonebox with Just “Theresa” and Just “Cecilia”.

The Hares promise you runners’ and walkers’ trails featuring fantastic, never before seen sights for HZH3 Hash #153. There will be scenic hills and forests, of course, but also lakes, monuments, museums, ancient ruins, cultural sites and other neat stuff you’d expect on another great SCENIC HANGZHOU RUN.

We will start (and finish) the #153 HZH3 Hash at FengLe Lou Restaurant at # in ShangCheng District of Hangzhou. It is S-E of West Lake just south of the Drum Tower (Gu Lou) along ZhongShan South Road about 1 km S-E of Wushan Square. – See pictures attached.

Cost 费用: 20RMB – Covers: run/hike, beer and snacks. 包括: 跑步/爬山,啤酒,小吃.

Bus 公交:  Some buses stop near to the meeting point too. Go to the Google Map or BaiDu Map above and then look at the nearby bus stops (e.g. TongJiang Qiao (Bridge) and Gu Lou) to see if a suitable bus route is available for you.

Public Hire Bikes 共用自行车: Why not beat the traffic jams or get some extra exercise and ride a bike to the start? There is probably a Red Public Hire Bike point very near to the Hash meeting point…

After the #153 Hash we’ll have the “Circle” to award Down Downs (beer provided 免费啤酒) for transgressions of Hash etiquette or protocol, errors of judgement, and various other misdemeanours, and to generally have some laughs, then everyone is invited to join us for the Bash (dinner 晚餐). NOTE: The Bash has a separate cost. 注意:晚餐是另一个费用.

You can expect HZH3 Hash runs roughly (or sometimes VERY roughly… if the hares had a big night out on the night before…) every other Saturday (i.e. fortnightly) and both runners’ and walkers’ trails will usually be set.

It’s fun, it’s social, it’s healthy (mostly…), so come along and be a part of it!!!

The Hares promise you runners’ and walkers’ trails featuring fantastic, never before seen sights for HZH3 Hash #152. There will be scenic hills, tea fields and forests, of course, but also lakes,  dry (and wet?) creek beds, wooden bridges, hilltop fortresses, and cultural sites and other stuff you’d expect on a SCENIC HANGZHOU RUN.

Suzhou’s 2nd Annual Thanksgiving Hash! – Sat, 29 November, 12pm

This event will take place in Suzhou City in Jiangsu Province.

Saturday November 29: 2nd Annual Thanksgiving Hash!

We will be celebrating the tastiest holiday known to man with a Thanksgiving hash Saturday November 29. We will take the bus out to the hills/countryside around Suzhou for an epic hash and return to the home of some sucker hashers back in SIP for a proper Thanksgiving feast. With veteran hares Driving Miss Daisy, Just Chanzi, and Just Fabian setting a spectacular trail, as well as enough turkey to put you in a food coma for hours, this hash is not to be missed!

When: Saturday November 29, 12:00pm bus LEAVES

Meeting point: @Ollies in Ligongdi
Who: runners, joggers, walkers. Newcomers welcome!
Terrain: fields, hills. Bring appropriate shoes.
Trails: walkers trail, runners trail
Cost: ~200rmb (includes bus, beer, snacks, and TURKEY FEAST back in Suzhou! If you want to contribute a dish, let me know–you will be reimbursed)

The 2015 Pan Asia Hash will be held in “Pondy”, India – Fri-Sun, 25-27 Sep 2015

This is probably the biggest Hash event on the Asian Hashing calendar for 2015. They estimate there will be 2500 – 3000 Hashers, so it’s sure to be an amazing event in a scenic coastal city in S-E India!!!

“The biggest event in the 2015 Hashing calendar is a 100% On On!

After the early mismanagement . . . hey, come on its a hash after all, the web-site is live and online registration will be available before the end of the month. We have negotiated excellent Hash rates for local accommodation and you will be able to view and book by following the
link on the PANHP2015 web-site by the end of the month.

The committee’s experience of organising various Nash and anniversary Hashes ensures this will be the biggest and most fun Hash event of the year with great venues, challenging runs, the ever popular Charity Red dress run and of course lashing of alcohol.

As always we are looking for Hashers to support the event and help with the organisation so let us know via email if you are interested. . .

Basically, we’ll be starting and finishing Hash #152 near the south end of the 9 Creeks trail near to the ZhiJiang River. It’s about 2kms west of the 6 Harmonies Pagoda.
