Contact 联系

Run details are posted on the HZH3 Home page of this site during the week before the run (or earlier if someone (i.e. the Hash Scribe…) is very organised…), usually no later than Thursday.

Details of the next few weeks’ runs can be found in the Receding Hareline.

There is also a mailing list for the HZH3 Hash and an email is sent to this list once run details are confirmed, again usually no later than Thursday. Send an email to  mismanagement [AT] hangzhou-hhh.org  for general questions, offers of help or beer, or to be added to the list to receive our updates. This is our main contact method, so we hope EVERYONE at least joins our email list.

As mentioned, we hope everyone gets on our HZH3 Email list, since that’s our primary contact method, but we also have a Facebook page, a Twitter feed and a WeChat (微信) chat group for more social interactions. Ask us about those if you’re interested in them.

There are also RSS feeds for both the posts and the comments which you can subscribe to.

  1. Hi! I hate running. Can’t run 3 blocks without stepping on my own tongue. May I join you? I’m willing to work on the drinking part.
Where do you meet this Sunday (June 7th)?

  2. I am going to be in Hangzhou on Sunday October 4th and wanted to know if you are going to be running because I would love to run with the group. My email is … .

[I’ve removed your email address from the web so it doesn’t get picked up by spammers but Mis-Management and have it – DS]

  3. Hey, are y’all still running? I’ll be in Hangzhou May 26-June 20 and would like to run, but the most recent thing I see here is September 2010.

  4. Hey Everyone!

A hasher from the Beijing Hash wants to join me on the Hangzhou Marathon Sunday November 6, but missed the deadline to register for the Marathon. I’m wondering if anyone by chance has registered and will get a race bib, but is not going to run it anymore?

Of course my friend would reimburse you the registration fee and would HUGELY appreciate it if we could run it together!!!

    Huge thanks!!!

    Mike

  6. Hi Laurie,

I think you have now sent us an email using a different email address, right?

    Or, I guess there’s a chance that’s a different Laurie…?

FYI, there seems to be a typo in the email address you were using for us. It’s not “mismanagent” it should be “mismanageMEnt”. That looks like it was the problem.

    Cheers,

    Sweet FA (HZH3 – On-Sec)

  7. Hi everyone! I used to join HHH Bali and love to hear that we have one in Hanghzou since I am working in Shanghai now!
I am training for a 50k trail run taking place on 18 October in Ninghai. For this I will be spending a lot of time training in Hangzhou and I am looking for a training partner. Looking at doing a trail run of 16km to 26km every two weeks on either Saturday or Sunday in Hangzhou. I have not done a trail run like this before but I have plenty ambition and willpower which I hope will me through it.:) Do reach out if you like to train together. Regards, Nmink

  8. Hi Nmink,

It’s great to hear from you.

Our normal local Hangzhou Hashes are usually 7 to 10kms long. We (usually) Hash every 2nd Saturday afternoon.

You could always do your own 10 – 15km run in the morning and then join us in the afternoon. 🙂

See info on future HZH3 Hashes and other Hash and non-Hash events here: http://www.hangzhou-hhh.org/?page_id=8

Have you found the Hashers in Shanghai yet? I know some of them do Ultra-marathons and Mountain trail runs too.

The Drunken Dragon Hash does bus trips to more scenic areas on Shanghai’s outskirts and sometimes the Hangzhou Hash and Suzhou Hash join them for weekend Hashing adventures further away too.

The Shanghai H3 do local Shanghai city and park Hashes. They are more fun and scenic than you might expect though. 🙂

By the way, just after your big QingHai trail run, there will be a 25km trail run for 480 people in Hangzhou on Sun, 25 October 2015. Registration closes on 24 August.

  9. Thanks a lot TimF! That’s very helpful and I will reach out to shanghai HHH and join Hangzhou HHH soon!
Do you happen to know some of these ultra and trail runners so that I can contact them for some QA’s? Always good to get some insider information for a new comer…
    Thanks again, Nmink
