HZH3 Hash #155 – “The Hashtabulous New Year Run / Hike” – Sat, 3 January, 1.30pm

Hello again HZH3 Hashers and those who want to be, 

Whether you’re a runner 跑步者, a jogger 慢跑者 or a walker 走步/爬山者, come along and hit the canals, country roads and tea field trails while chasing the ‘hares’ through the parks and forests and over the hills around Hangzhou with us. 欢迎大家!

The Hares for Hash #155 are  Gasbag with Pain in the Clit and Comes Too Fast giving able support. Thank you for volunteering Hares!!!  🙂

The Hares promise you runners’ and walkers’ trails featuring fantastic, never before seen sights for HZH3 Hash #155. There will be scenic forest trails, tea fields and parks, of course, but also hilltop views, ancient ruins, cultural sites, bamboo a plenty and other neat stuff you’d expect on another great SCENIC HANGZHOU HASH.

We will start (and finish) the HZH3 Hash #155 at **Amigo Bar and Restaurant** (雅谷酒吧) at 8 Yugu Road (玉古路8号) near QingZhiWu Street and the Hangzhou Botanic Gardens (靠近青芝坞和杭州植物园 KaoJin QingZhiWu He Hangzhou ZhiWuYuan).

Hares 带路”野兔”:  Gasbag with Pain in the Clit and Comes Too Fast.

Cost 费用: 20RMB – Covers: run/hike, beer and snacks. 包括: 跑步/爬山,啤酒,小吃.

Bus 公交:  Some buses stop very near to the meeting point. Catch buses to the Zhejiang University Yuquan campus (浙大玉泉校区) on Yugu Road at Zheda Road (500m walk) OR to the Botanic Gardens (植物园) gate on Yugu Road (100m walk) OR to the Yuquan Bus Station (玉泉站) on Yuquan and Lingyin Roads (500m walk). Go to the Google Map or BaiDu Map above and then look at the nearby bus stops to see if a suitable bus route is available for you.

Public Hire Bikes 共用自行车: Why not beat the traffic jams or get some extra exercise and ride a bike to the start? There some Red Public Hire Bike points very near to the Hash meeting point… There is a small one in the carpark opposite the gate of the Botanic Gardens. There are others about 500m north on YuGu Road and ZheDa Road near the intersection.

After the #155 Hash we’ll have the “Circle” to award Down Downs (beer provided 免费啤酒) for transgressions of Hash etiquette or protocol, errors of judgement, and various other misdemeanours, and to generally have some laughs, then everyone is invited to join us for the Bash (dinner 晚餐). NOTE: The Bash has a separate cost. 注意:晚餐是另一个费用.

You can expect HZH3 Hash runs roughly (or sometimes VERY roughly… if the hares had a big night out on the night before…) every other Saturday (i.e. fortnightly) and both runners’ and walkers’ trails will usually be set.

It’s fun, it’s social, it’s healthy (mostly…), so come along and be a part of it!!!
