Sunday 4th May – 1700 – The 5@11 Run – Hare is Hentai (Cartoon Porn) and Skidmarks – The venue is Cartoon Porn’s pub bar near the corner of North Baochu Rd and Wenyi Rd. North Baochu Rd forms a major T intersection with Wenyi Rd, with a small street that continues in the same direction as Baochu Rd. The 11 Bar is 75 metres up this small one way street on the right. Or just hang around on the corner looking lost until someone claims you. If in trouble ring Cartoon Porn on 13656815020.
Tuesday 6th May – 19.30 – The Even If It Rains Running group sets off from Maya Bar at 7.30pm every Tuesday night, (stragglers notwithstanding), for lakeside training runs of from 5 to 14km. A large crowd last week courtesy of Jackie’s article saw Doggie Style celebrate his 30th birthday with 2 circuits of the Yanggongdi Sudi 10.0km course. The maths left everyone nonplussed, but Michael was impressed enough to go with him for the first circuit and then saddle up for a 14km second circuit via Nanshan Rd and the Sudi. The post-run refreshments ended up with a life of their own, much to collective regret the following morning.
The idea is that new runners should feel welcome to the group, not feel like intruders; older runners can assist with introductions and ice breaking.
Saturday 10th May – 08.00 – The Dragon Run, a 5 km run organised by the HZ International School – entry fee RMB50. You can register on the morning of the run. The address is DongXin Lu, Binjiang.（滨江东信大
